APRFLYTECH "Recognized Entity" by the ENAC competent authority
To become a UAS pilot in the OPEN A2 subcategory it is necessary to obtain the “Remote Pilot Competence Certificate”. It is issued by ENAC upon the fulfillment of three fundamental requirements:
Already in possession of the "Online training completion test" for categories A1 / A3, or possess a remote pilot certificate for non-critical operations issued before 31 December 2020 according to national legislation;
Declare the completion of the practical training (Self-practical Training), carried out according to the conditions provided for the OPEN A3 category and as specified by point UAS.OPEN.040 of the EU Reg. 2020/639;
Pass a further theoretical exam of 30 multiple choice questions on the subjects specified in point UAS.OPEN.030 of Reg UE 2020/639.
The test for the achievement of the Remote Pilot Competence Certificate in the Open A2 subcategory must be taken at one of the Recognized Entities OPEN A2 PROCTORED under the control of a designated supervisor, according to the exam calendar published on the ENAC website (SEE OUR EXAMS CALENDAR below).
NOTE: only the Recognized Entities, published on the ENAC website, are authorized to take the OPEN A2 exam at their indicated location.

Preconditions for access and preparatory work
The candidate can take the exam only if:
is an Italian citizen of age and in possession of SPID. If a minor (16-17 years old), the candidate must have the consent of the parent / legal guardian (to be validated) and carry out a specific validation procedure on the serviziweb.enac.gov.it portal;
is in possession of the “UAS-A1-A3” Certificate, issued by an EASA Member State, or of “Non-critical RPA pilot op.” issued by ENAC;
at least 15 days have passed since the UAS-A1-A3 certificate was obtained;
The exam can be taken at the chosen Recognized Entities OPEN A2 PROCTORED only after having finalized the following on the serviziweb.enac.gov.it portal:
the "UAS A2 exam" procedure up to the completion of "STEP 2 - Payment", that is, the payment of the fixed fee of EUR 31.00 must have been successfully completed
completed the “UAS Pilot Practical Training Statement”.
After completing the first two stages of the online registration procedure, the candidate can contact one of the Recognized Entities to be placed in an exam session and to receive further instructions necessary to take the exam.
Precondizioni di accesso e propedeuticità
Il candidato potrà sostenere l’esame solo se:

è Cittadino Italiano maggiorenne ed in possesso di SPID. Se di minore età (16-17 anni), il candidato deve disporre del consenso del genitore /tutore legale (da validare ) ed effettua una apposita procedura di validazione sul portale serviziweb.enac.gov.it;

è in possesso di Attestato “UAS-A1-A3”, rilasciato da uno Stato Membro di EASA, oppure di “Pilota APR op.non critiche” rilasciato da ENAC;
-
sono trascorsi almeno 15 giorni dal conseguimento dell’attestato UAS-A1-A3;
L'esame potrà essere sostenuto presso la Recognized Entities OPEN A2 PROCTORED prescelta solo dopo aver finalizzato sul portale serviziweb.enac.gov.it:
-
la procedura “Esame UAS A2” sino al completamento dello “STEP 2- Pagamento”, cioè deve aver concluso con esito positivo il pagamento del diritto fisso di 31,00 EUR
-
compilato la “Dichiarazione di Addestramento Pratico Pilota UAS”.
Dopo aver completato le prime due fasi della procedura di registrazione online, il candidato potrà contattare una delle Entità Riconosciute per essere inserito in una sessione d’esame e per ricevere le ulteriori istruzioni necessarie a sostenere l’esame.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
The registration and presentation of the declaration can be carried out by the candidate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
EXAMINATION:
The exam can be taken at our office, in the time slot from 9:30 to 17:00, (on the days in which ENAC has activated the sessions at the Recognized Entities OPEN A2 PROCTORED, according to the published calendar.
The exam will be videotaped and, for this reason, the candidate will be asked for consent in accordance with the legislation on
privacy.
The exam consists in passing a test consisting of 30 multiple choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes.
SCORES:
For each correct answer: 2 points
For each answer not given: 0 points
For each wrong answer: - 1 point.
The exam is passed when the score achieved is equal to or greater than 45 points, equal to 75% of the maximum achievable score (60 points):
The payment of the fixed fee of 31.00 euros provides the candidate with a "token" that gives the right to start 3 exam sessions (attempts) at the CA.APR headquarters and under the supervision of the Centre's staff, in compliance with the regulations exam.
At our office it is possible to take the exam to be booked at least 20 days in advance of the date chosen for the exam according to the exam calendar published on the ENAC website.
TO BOOK THE EXAM WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Pay 31.00 euros for the A2 exam on the ENAC website;
Possess the A1-A3 certificate acquired WITH ONLINE EXAMINATION on the ENAC website for at least 15 days or "BASIC certificate" old legislation;
Fiscal Code;
Identity card;
These documents must be brought in original on the day of the exam to verify identity and access the exam.

Make the advance payment of 129.00 euros to take 1 exam lasting 1 hour;
Attention:
This gives the right to 1 exam attempt lasting 1 hour, in case the exam is not successful due to failure, the candidate abandoning the session, the malfunction / disservice of the ENAC Online platform. the examination session is considered to have taken place.
The following two (2) available exams can be performed:
the same day at a reduced cost of 100.00 each, otherwise;
on different days at a cost of 129.00 each;
must be paid on site before the exam in cash, debit or credit card.
The candidate who has exhausted the maximum number of attempts at his / her disposal (3 attempts) will be able to take a new exam if:
15 days have passed since the last negative result;
the candidate has made a new request on the portal servizweb.enac.gov.it, a new payment of the same amount, which will give the right to take the test again in the same way, and has agreed with the authorized Recognized entity the seat and exam date.
Certificate download
After making the payment and having successfully passed the exam, in compliance with the regulations, the candidate can download the UAS-A2 "Remote Pilot Competence Certificate" made available in his / her reserved area of the Web Services platform. The certification is valid for 5 years.
