The new multifunctional D-RTK 3 Station integrates high-performance antennas and receiver modules capable of monitoring and resolving data from major global navigation satellite systems, and supports multiple data transmission links. Thanks to these outstanding features, it can function as a radar station to provide centimeter-level positioning for multiple drones simultaneously or extend the operational range of drones and DJI Dock 3 in relay station mode. Additionally, the new Rover Station mode, combined with the DJI Enterprise app and DJI Terra, offers a complete solution for high-precision aerial surveying applications, ensuring safe and accurate operation.

Relay station mode [2]: push the limits

In urban areas, valleys, or challenging sites for the DJI Dock 3 with dense obstacles, simply switch the D-RTK 3 to Relay Station mode and place it in an elevated position, or directly set up the fixed-installation D-RTK 3 Relay repeater station [2]. This configuration enhances video transmission range for the Matrice 4/4D series, extending operational coverage up to 25 kilometers [3].

D-RTK 3 supports obstacle detection with the Matrice 4 series, enabling real-time calculation of obstacles and signal quality between the relay station, remote controller, and drone. Operators can adjust the drone’s position based on messages from the remote controller to ensure optimal communication quality.

Base station: supports simultaneous operation of multiple models

D-RTK 3 supports the new O4 Enterprise video transmission system. Equipped with four external directional antennas, it achieves a maximum RTK coverage of 15 km [1] in base station transmission mode, ensuring stable signals in all directions. Operators only need to set up a D-RTK 3 multifunctional station without any additional configurations, allowing multiple drones to connect to the base station and access centimeter-level positioning.

Rover Station mode: flexible and efficient

In addition to serving as a base station, D-RTK 3 can also be used as a Rover Station to collect ground control point coordinates, enhancing the accuracy of UAV aerial surveys and improving overall survey precision.

Fixed deployment version with no maintenance

Adaptable to the most diverse environments

The Fixed Deployment Version offers outdoor operation with no maintenance and adaptability to various environments. It can be installed on towers, light poles, parapet walls, and other vertical structures, meeting the requirements of different scenarios. It also supports power supply from DJI Dock 3 or third-party external sources, allowing for long-distance deployments.

The D-RTK 3 Relay, a repeater station for fixed deployment, features a highly redundant and reliable hardware and software design, significantly reducing maintenance costs. Equipped with lightning surge protection and an IP67 protection rating, it can operate stably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C. Once installed, it can perform continuous outdoor operations with minimal technical intervention.

Remote access

The D-RTK 3 Relay, a repeater station for fixed deployment, features a highly redundant and reliable hardware and software design, significantly reducing maintenance costs. Equipped with lightning surge protection and an IP67 protection rating, it can operate stably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C. Once installed, it can perform continuous outdoor operations with minimal technical intervention.

The D-RTK 3 Relay also supports remote access. When deployed in an elevated position, it can transmit connection signals directly without the need to activate the link via buttons. Nearby Matrice 4 series drones can scan for inactive relay stations and connect to them remotely, thus benefiting from the signal relay functionality.

Independent high-precision positioning (PPP)

D-RTK 3 uses DJI’s proprietary PPP solution, enabling automatic satellite-based convergence. It provides decimeter-level free positioning even under challenging network conditions.

High-precision network calibration

D-RTK 3 can receive RTCM data and automatically obtain correct coordinates and positions through the network. When used outdoors, it can achieve centimeter-level precision positioning without pre-measuring the setup point location.

Install the new DJI Enterprise app on an Android device to measure ground control point coordinates without third-party tools. When used with DJI drones that support RTK, the DJI solution can efficiently complete an entire high-precision surveying workflow.

The D-RTK 3 model is equipped with a built-in high-precision inertial measurement unit, allowing control point measurement when the pole is held at an angle without a tripod or ensuring that the base station is vertical, significantly improving operational efficiency in complex measurement environments.

Supports projection coordinate conversion

The new DJI Enterprise app includes a database of mainstream projection coordinates, allowing direct output of planar coordinates.

DJI Terra-compatible for efficient data processing

One-click import, time-saving and maximum simplicity

Rover measurement results can be exported as control point files via the DJI Enterprise app and imported into DJI Terra without the need for further format adjustments. Thanks to powerful algorithms, high-precision results can be easily generated.

Supports local PPK

D-RTK 3 supports the recording of raw satellite observations. If imported into DJI Terra version 4.4 or later along with Matrice 4E data, local PPK calculations can be performed with a single click.
