Practical Course A1 - A3
UAS operations
APRFLYTECH "Recognized Entity" by the ENAC competent authority
Do you want to fly safely? Trust us
The A1-A3 practical course is delivered by a FI flight instructor inhabited by ENAC individually and not in a group, it is used by the pilot to acquire a technique and method of flight with a training course that will lead him to fly safely.
Aprflytech has trained more than 500 pilots in all sectors of use and very often we hear that drones fly alone, it's true! Especially if you use scheduled flights and application flight automatics, but if you have to / want to fly yourself or in case of emergency intervention due to a failure, an error in the flight software, the GPS does not receive the correct signal, to the compass that does not work because there are metal structures what happens?
Simple!! You are not able to make the correct decision and give the necessary commands in seconds to get out of danger, land your UAV without incurring accidents that can also cause injury to people and damage to other people's property. For this reason, practical training in flight should not be neglected, everyone's safety is at stake.

COURSE PROGRAM
Duration of 3 hours of flight
OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
The main purpose of the courses provided by APRFLYTECH is to train the frequenting pilot to conduct the UAV in total safety in every phase of the flight, be it normal or in emergency.
The training, as required by law, is structured, according to the type of course required, in theoretical and practical training.
The detailed aims of each individual training course are given in the various training syllables.
TIME DEVELOPMENT OF THE COURSE
The training courses provided by APRFLYTECH consist of:
Theoretical training;
Practical in-flight training;
The development of a course foresees different durations depending on the type of course provided and the pilot's ability to acquire the training received and to implement it.
COURSE METHODOLOGY
Each training course involves the sequential carrying out of:
Theoretical training in the flight area on safety in the use of the UAV and pre-flight briefing;
Practical training in flight, 18 missions ( 3 hours ) of flight in "GPS" mode will be performed suitable for acquiring the necessary automation of the controls to safely drive a UAV both in normal and emergency conditions.
METHOD OF PERFORMING THEORETICAL TRAINING
Theoretical training is a fundamental part of any course delivered by APRFLYTECH and is conducted under the guidance of qualified instructors.
METHOD OF PERFORMING FLIGHT MISSIONS
The flight activity is carried out in the flight areas of Bovisio Masciago –MB, Via Aprica, snc.
Flight training is divided into missions of increasing difficulty according to the training path defined within the syllabus of the course in question.
Flight training is provided only by FI APR Flight Instructors, deemed by the organization suitable for carrying out the task, by demonstrating and practicing the flight maneuvers provided for in the training syllabus.
For in-flight training, only UAVs approved by ENAC, registered on D-Flight and with relative insurance suitable for the purpose are used by the training center.
UAV with dual controls
Each UAV used for any type of training is equipped with dual controls which allow the instructor or examiner to pass the student control station and take possession of the UAV's conduct at any time.
During dual-command training flights, the instructor performs the duties of Pilot in Command even if he is not directly at the controls and, therefore, is responsible for the flight and compliance with safety conditions by intervening on the controls if the conduct of the UAV jeopardize the safety of things or people.
