DJI Terra and DJI Modify for seamless workflows
In a 3D modeling project on DJI Terra, you can launch DJI Modify with one click for model editing, ensuring efficient workflows and an end-to-end solution from modeling to model modification. On DJI Terra, enable the DJI Modify switch and the model editing files will be generated automatically, including pre-identified objects and model pre-processing, allowing efficient completion of the editing process.
Simplified interaction
Efficient workflows
Without complex settings, DJI Modify will quickly import and export model files and perform consistent editing operations, such as automatic structure repair and batch vehicle flattening, significantly reducing workloads. The intelligent and seamless integration between workflow stages will make task completion faster and worry-free.
Interfaccia intuitiva, operazioni semplici
DJI Modify's simplified interface enables a more intuitive interaction, allowing you to quickly and effortlessly become familiar with the software. Intuitive controls and practical, easy-to-use editing tools will reduce manual effort, streamlining the model editing process.
High- and low-quality models in a single interface
DJI Modify’s simplified interface promotes more intuitive interaction, allowing you to become familiar with the software quickly and effortlessly. Intuitive controls and practical, easy-to-use editing tools will reduce manual effort, streamlining the model editing process.

Efficient 3D model repair
Floating parts removal
Multiple selection methods
In addition to using the mouse to select large groups of floating parts or clicking to select a single item (each single selection replaces the previous one), DJI Modify also supports grouping selection results with Add to Selection and Subtract from Selection functions. These options allow for accurate selection of moving parts without repeatedly loading high-quality models or selecting them manually.
Floating parts removal
After selecting the floating parts, you can easily remove them using the Remove Floating Parts button in the interface or the Delete/Backspace key on the keyboard, for quick and convenient removal. You can also quickly preview the model after removal.
Flattening
Multiple selection methods
Supports mouse framing of a polygon for single region selection (replacing the previous selection) or grouping selection results with Add to Selection and Subtract from Selection functions to select irregular regions as needed.
Vehicle flattening and structure repair
By clicking the Vehicle button in the panel, DJI Modify will promptly identify and select vehicles in the current view. Click the Flatten button in the menu to flatten all vehicle meshes. DJI Modify then automatically smooths the structures in the flattened areas, ensuring a seamless and visually pleasing repair.
One-click flattening
Whether selecting a single region or grouping multiple results, there's no need to waste time adjusting parameters: click the Flatten button to instantly flatten all selected meshes, quickly resolving surface protrusions such as vehicles or pedestrians.
Structure repair
Polygon selection
DJI Modify supports structure repair within a polygon selection, simplifying the refinement of irregular model regions.
Delete
Selecting Delete allows DJI Modify to match and repair a selected area with the surrounding patterns, providing quick and realistic texture repair.
Clone
Choosing Clone means that after selecting a pattern within a specific area using the repair tool, you can drag it to the area that needs repair. DJI Modify seamlessly blends the edges of the pattern with the surrounding region, providing a uniformly repaired effect.
Hole filling
Hole contour detection
DJI Modify automatically and accurately identifies holes in the model, outlining and highlighting the contours to eliminate the need for manual work.
Framing/Click Selection
You can quickly and accurately repair selected holes using the mouse to click or frame the perimeter of the holes.
Custom selection
You can also custom-select the hole contours and repair them more flexibly according to your needs.
One-click filling
DJI Modify supports one-click repair of selected holes, automatically fixing the hole structures with excellent blending results, also allowing efficient and precise editing of complex and hard-to-identify holes within the model.
Water surface repair
Custom range
You can create and adjust the water surface on the model, modifying the distance, height, shape, and position to better fit the model.
Fast generation
While drawing the water surface, DJI Modify will intelligently fill it with structural patterns or a chosen custom color, quickly generating a smooth water surface in real time to optimize the repair of aquatic scenes.
Point cloud editing [4]
Automatic point cloud classification [5]
Supports one-click point cloud classification and rapid result generation. It supports switching between display modes, including RGB, classification, reflectivity, and height, and adjusts the overlay RGB display intensity for quick preview of the results.
Intelligent point cloud selection
Supports one-click identification of point cloud types within a three-dimensional area, including ground, roof, vehicle, and more. It also provides various selection methods such as Single Selection, Add to Selection, and Remove from Selection to enhance point cloud selection efficiency.
Manual point cloud classification
Supports classification of the selected point cloud in LAS standard, with customizable classification categories. You can show or hide the point cloud of the corresponding classification and export the related results separately.
Terrain result generation
Supports the generation of high-quality DEMs, contour lines, TINs, and point grids through accurately classified ground point clouds, meeting the needs of various scenarios such as surveying and planning.
Cloud sharing [3],
fast generation
DJI Modify will quickly render and export models in various formats such as PLY, OBJ, and B3DM, compatible with DJI Terra and third-party software. Processed models can be quickly shared in the cloud, allowing others to view them online on the web or mobile devices via shared links without installing any software.
