With Emlid Reach RS2 you will have the solution in fix in seconds and you will keep it even if you operate in difficult conditions. Centimeter accuracy will be possible over distances up to 60 km in RTK and even 100 km in PPK mode.

PPP supported

Logs in RINEX format are compatible with OPUS, CSRS-PPP, AUSPOS, and other PPP services for centimeter-accurate results anywhere on earth. You will be able to process the RINEX file also with online services and have positions with very high precision.

3.5G modem  Integrated

Reach RS2  equipped with a high efficiency 3.5G HSPA modem with 2G security coverage. Now NTRIP corrections are transmitted independently, you no longer have to rely on your smartphone or router.

22 hours of work with 1 recharge

More than 22 hours of autonomous work and more than 16 if you use the modem with 3G connection, even if it is very cold. With Reach RS2 you will no longer have to carry spare batteries with you, you can recharge your instrument with a simple USB wall socket or a power bank.

A simple app for Android and iOS that will allow you to collect points in seconds. In addition to collecting, you can also reach points with ReachView and your Reach RS2. Thanks to this app you can save logs in RINEX format and configure output in NMEA format.

The stakeout process in ReachView involves two steps: map view and target. The purpose of the map is to guide you to the desired points. When you are 40cm to the point, the interface will show you a target. Move the receiver until a green bubble appears and that's it.

Stakeout is used to find the exact locations of points. They can be registered in ReachView or imported from other CAD or GIS software.

RINEX raw data logs are compatible with PPP services, so now you can get accurate results anywhere on Earth. Process RINEX files in an online service and get the position with absolute accuracy.

Base Station Mode

Your GNSS Emlid Reach RS2 can become a base station and transmit corrections via NTRIP / TCP, LoRa radio or simply record the position for post-processing. Once you have set Reach RS2 as a base-station you can associate all the rovers you want and it is also compatible with Reach RS + and M +.
 

Compatible with other receivers

With any receiver that supports RTCM3 and NTRIP format. External radios are supported over RS-232.

Real Time Navigation

With Reach RS2 you can send precise coordinates via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to your tablet or navigation app. The RS-232 interface allows you to connect the Reach RS2 directly to the autosteer system.

elastomer

Elastomer is a rubber-like material that forms a cushioning surface around the entire receiver. Thanks to a sophisticated production process, the elastomer is bonded to the polycarbonate, guaranteeing efficient protection from the impacts that the Reach RS2 may suffer.

The radio of the Reach RS2 works over distances up to 4 times longer than traditional FSK radios at the same power without  affect battery life. The LoRa radio is used to connect the Rover to the Base if the corrections provided by the NTRIP services are not available.
